Before taking the blood samples for the Heartburn panel, the nurse will ask you the following questions:
1. Have you received treatment for a Helicobacter pylori infection?
2. Do you experience heartburn?
3. Do you use PPIs (proton pump inhibitors, such as Omeprazolum, Esomeprazolum, etc.)?
4. Do you regularly take NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, acetylsalicylic acid, etc.)?
