Laboratory tests requiring a doctor's referral
Some laboratory tests always require a doctor’s referral. The referral can be either in electronic or paper format.
The referral guarantees a doctor-patient care relationship. The patient care relationship is particularly important for the safety of certain tests and for the interpretation of the results and possible further treatment. You can also use SYNLAB's services with a referral issued abroad.
