How to prepare for X-rays
X-ray imaging is based on the use of X-radiation. This examination always requires a referral from a physician, detailing the area to be imaged and the precise objectives of the examination.
The examination is painless and takes between 5 and 15 minutes, depending on the area being imaged. You may need to take off some of your clothes for the imaging.
When you arrive for your examination, please bring a photo ID with you.
How to prepare for the examination
Most X-ray examinations do not require any preparations.
Before native urinary tract and kidney examinations, we recommend using the bathroom so that your bladder and bowel are empty for the examination.
Please arrive about 10–15 minutes before your scheduled examination.
Please avoid strong fragrances when visiting our clinic.
