Booking appointments for (FSHS) students

1. Logging in

Go to SYNLAB's online services where you will find your own referral.

Log in through strong authentication with either a mobile certificate or via an online bank service. If you do not wish to use the online booking, you can book an appointment by calling +358 (0)10 326 3260.

2. Booking appointments

After logging in, select “Appointments and referrals".

In “Appointments and referrals” you can see your open referrals. The referral states who gave the referral (FSHS) and which examinations
they have requested.

To book an appointment for the referral, click “Book an appointment” , which opens the appointment booking calendar. Please note, however, that FSHS appointments cannot be made to pharmacy locations.

3. Reserve the sufficient time for appointment

If you have a referral that contains many different tests, please reserve sufficient time for the appointment by following these guidelines.

• If you are simply having a blood test, select "Laboratory sample" (in Finnish "Laboratorionäyte"). For urine and stool samples and samples from the mucous membrane, please select this same time slot.

• If you have a Pap smear or a Pap smear and other laboratory tests, select "Pap smear" (in Finnish "PAPA-koe"). Blood tests can be taken during the same time slot, if necessary.

• If you are having an ECG test, select "ECG and blood sample" (in Finnish "EKG ja verinäyte". Blood tests can be taken during the same time slot, if necessary.

• For fungal sampling, please book a 20-minute time slot, select "Fungal sample" (in Finnish "Sieninäyte". Blood tests can be taken during the same time slot, if necessary.

· If you are having a drug test, please select "Drugtest contract customers". (in Finnish "Huumetesti vain sopimusasiakkaat".)

Samples taken at home

• Please book "Laboratory sample" (in Finnish "Laboratorionäyte") time for picking up and returning sampling containers. Please pick up the necessary containers before having your blood test.

Rescheduling / cancelling your appointment

To view, reschedule or cancel your appointment, click “Appointments and referral”. Testing appointments must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the appointment.
